I'm the thankful wife of that handsome man up there, David. We met while working for RUF shortly after college and decided to get married pretty quickly. That cute toddler in my arms is our son, Will. He came along about 3 years after our wedding. David is holding our most recent addition, Walt. We work and play in beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC, where David sells real estate and I manage our home, write, and raise our boys.
I get fired up about fall weather, planting and growing things, writing, sewing, french country furniture, baking, good books, and good conversation. Discipleship and Biblical Literacy are my passions. I love to see the way that the gospel transforms how people think and live.
About "Gentle Leading"
He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that have young.
This website you've somehow stumbled upon is my creative outlet designed primarily as a form of accountability for me to view my role as a wife and a mother in the context of God's much (much) bigger story of redemption. It's secondary purpose is to be a source of encouragement (see the full story of its beginning here). I hope you'll join with me on this journey of living each day by grace through faith.
Maybe we can learn from each other? I sincerely love to hear from the women who spend time on this site. It blesses my soul to hear your stories and have the privilege of learning of the ways that God is at work in your lives. I would be so honored if you would introduce yourself by clicking the "contact" tab. You can also find information there about speaking, guest posting, and doing product reviews.
